Feature Request: Option to hide or customize keyboard

I'm currently building a drum kit library and got me thinking that since I am only using a tiny part of the keyboard, I wish there is an option to hide it. And also, maybe replace it with "pads" or custom graphics.

Is this a feasible idea?
