Is it possible to modulate the pitch of an DS instrument?

I noticed that the Soft Strings Spurs has an amplitude modulation knob. Is it possible to do the same thing but targeting the modulation to the pitch of a sample group?

It's not yet possible to do this, but I can add this feature if you'd like.

Let me just make sure I understand what you mean: let's say we had a knob targeting the pitch modulation. When the knob was turned down would the sample play the same note regardless of which note was played? And when it was turned up it would track pitches as normal?
