Greetings!

I'm in the middle of creating an ambient synth library and I've hit a bit of a technical road block. I wanted to have ambient samples such as rain and wind which are controlled solely by their subsequent volume knobs. That is, I don't want them triggered by playing notes (that will be for the analog synth samples). Instead, I'd like to have a knob which, when turned up, creates a sustained drone note, unaffected by the notes played. Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

Hi,

Maybe if you put the samples with trigger=release. You can set the range to all the keys. You'll still need to press a key to start the sound but once started it'll never stop (I guess).
