Description
UV – The Song of Mexico is a deeply sampled instrument library for DecentSampler, featuring 60 traditional Mexican instruments organized into expressive categories:
- Soloists: mexican salterio (tenor & requinto), requinto jarocho, mexican requinto, harps (jarocha, jalisciense, tének, tzotzil), marimba, chapareke, son lute, bandolón, docerola, punteador jarocho
- Basses: guitarrón, tololoche, Yucatecan tololoche, leona, bajoloche
- Percussion: huehuetl, teponaztli, sonajas, ayotl (turtle shell), bells (prehispanic & modern), calentano drum, alteña percussion, dance platform, tap box, omichicahuaztli, tambourines, frame drums, banda drum, alternative drum kit, tabasqueño percussion
- Aerophones: carrizo flutes (7 types), ocarina, tlapitzalli (single, double, triple), Ehecachichtli (Aztec death whistle and Jaguar whistle), tecciztli (conch shells), hompak, toxacatl
- Bowed strings: gorgoro violin, rabelito, tuxteco violin, xaweri, seri monochord, raberi tarahumara
- Harmony / Strummed: quinta de golpe, vihuela, jaranas (jarocha and huasteca), bajo sexto, huapanguera, cartonal, conchera, mariachi guitar
The library includes a Strummer engine for rhythm-based instruments, enabling users to trigger full chords and expressive strums.
The interface is available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian.
Compatible with DecentSampler on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
