A simple collection featuring the Gayageum, a traditional 12-string Korean zither.
Includes:
Gayageum – Sampled instrument with 3 round-robin variations covering the playable range (C2-C7). Controls for attack, release, chorus, and reverb.
Gayageum Synth – Physical modeling version using DecentSampler’s pluck synthesis. Adjustable pluck character and damping parameters let you shape the tone and decay. Includes chorus and reverb effects.
Both presets share a custom UI inspired by the instrument’s traditional aesthetic. Use the sampled version for realistic performances or the synth version for more experimental sounds.
As always, this sample library works with the free decent sampler plugin. In fact, it can be downloaded directly from within the plugin, assuming you use the same email address for Patreon as you do for Decent Sampler.
