Communication loss is a time capsule of old items of the way we have communicated over the years, Not only a telegraph, but you’ll find an old radio, Nerf walkie-talkies, as well as the Blackberry Curve featured in this library.

For me, this all started with the puchase of a telegraph at an antique market, of which, I somewhat failed at making a guitar pedal out of. Instead, of sending through the sound of my guitar, it generated a huge, deafening buzz sound of electricity passing through the unit. (I’ll freely admit, I know little about making a pedal like that, but I can certainly do some woodworking to make it look like a pedal!) I was so proud of my creation, even though it wasn’t what I expected! This inspired me to create Communication Loss. It also lead to a bit of an obsession for the old things.
