I wanted to say thanks. For taking the time to craft this which enhanced my creativity. I was making an experimental something and it was lacking a certain sparkle. The solution ended up being a combination of Organic Orchestra and your Vocals, alternating each as a lead and support. I let this project rest for a few weeks, went on to compose another track, came back this morning with (hopefully) a fresh perspective. I listened to all three tracks together and I thought to myself “not bad depending on what you are looking for”. Price point is great, which I appreciate, as I’m a composing “newbe”. Everyone starts somewhere

I’ve been using Ethereal Vocals for about ten minutes and have already carved out a space for it in the upper tray of my composer’s toolbox. It’s a great little set of beautiful-sounding and inspiring patches, each with just over two octaves of perfect, angelic mms, oohs, and aahs (absolutely love the ability to dial in my own blend of each!). Not sure how long ago this was released as I am brand new to the Decent Sampler platform, but I’m already looking forward to the next one (a male baritone, perhaps?)

Ethereal Vocals packs a lot into 3 root sounds across a little over two octaves. The presets are excellent for those looking at Ambient tracks for scores or on their own. At lower reverb settings, it can take on a near-violin quality. There’s a nice bit of faint wavering left in to give it a very natural, organic feel without being overly perceptible (it doesn’t feel like you’d need tons of round robins). One tricky aspect is that even with quick attack and release and no effects, distinguishing between “aah” and “ooh” on different speakers can be challenging: these are sounds intended to wash into one another.

Nice sound and simple clean interface
